Judaism (Hebrew: יהדות) is the world's oldest Abrahamicmonotheisticreligion. It is almost 4,000 years old and originated in Israel. It is centered around the Torah. There are about 15 million followers. They are called Jews or Jewish people. It is the oldest monotheistic religion. The Torah is the most important holy book of Judaism. The laws and teachings of Judaism come from the Torah, the first five books of the Hebrew Bible and oraltraditions. Some of these were first oraltraditions and later written in the Mishnah, the Talmud, and other works.
